Description
Backwoods Mountain Sports is an outdoor store in Ketchum and Sun Valley, Idaho. In the winter our specialties are Backcountry Skiing, Telemark Skiing (Tele), Alpine Touring Skiing (AT), Nordic Skiing (Skate and Classic cross country skiing), and Snowshoeing. We carry skis, ski bindings, ski boots, ski poles, ski probes, shovels, beacons, waxes from Rossignol, Salomon, K2, Garmont, Scarpa, Black Diamond.
In the summer our specialties are Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking, Flat Water Kayak and Paddleboards, Mountain Biking and Cruiser Bikes, and Camping, Hiking, and Trekking gear.
We carry the Clothing that goes with all these sports from Patagonia, The North Face, Marmot, Mountain Hardwear, Cloudveil, Arc'Teryx, Smartwool, Isis, Swix, Toko, Craft, Pearl Izumi, Sugoi, Sporthill, Moving Comfort, Ojai, Horny Toad, and Royal Robbins. We sell shoes, winter boots and hiking boots from Garmont, Asolo, Salomon, Keen, Dansko, Ugg, and Teva.
We offer rentals for the following: Backcountry Skiing rental, Telemark Skiing rental (Tele), Alpine Touring Skiing rental (AT), Nordic Skiing rental (Skate and Classic cross country skiing), and Snowshoeing rental.
