A Bike repair station is available outside Fat Bat Brewing on Bank Lane - available 24 hours. This “do it yourself” Bike Repair and Maintenance station was funded by a grant from BLOOM through the York County Economic Alliance. The owner of Fat Bat Brewing Company, Sandy Bialek, requested the funds in a bid to attract bicyclist to downtown Hanover. It provides a padded hanger arm and can be used to suspend a damaged bike at eye level by its wheels or seat while the problem is being diagnosed. A versatile assortment of wrenches, screwdrivers, and tire levers are suspended in the stations central cavity by stainless steel aircraft cables. These cables keep the tools in place, but are long enough to provide more than enough room to work.
